A four-bedroom Contemporary at 9 Appian Way, Barrington, recently sold for $1.8 million, according to Residential Properties Ltd., the agency that represented the buyer and listed the property.
The 4,197-square-foot house has three bathrooms and two half-bathrooms, a fireplace in the master suite, and a chef’s kitchen with a bar sink and wine refrigerator. It sits on 0.87 acres along the Providence River and has two three-car garages and a cobblestone driveway.
Ellen Kasle and Lisa Schryver, both of Residential Properties, listed the house, and Robin LeClerc, also of Residential Properties, represented the buyer.
Newport’s Edgar House sells for $3.5M
The Commodore William Edgar House, at 25 Old Beach Rd., Newport, recently sold for $3,534,500, according to Lila Delman Real Estate, the agency that represented the seller.
The two-unit building totals 13,682 square feet and has 10 bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The traditional Georgian Wrenian Colonial Revival, built around 1885, was designed by noted architectural firm McKim, Mead & White for a founding member of the New York Yacht Club.
Kendra Toppa, of Lila Delman, and the agency’s president, the late Melanie Delman, represented the seller.
